Using Pin2 with Zoom
Pin2 is a personal AI assistant that runs on your own computer. When you connect your Zoom account, you can ask Pin2 in plain words to work with your meetings and recordings. Pin2 acts only as you, only after you sign in with Zoom, and asks before it changes anything.
Adding the app
- Install and open Pin2 on your computer.
- Open Pin2's settings and go to the connections section.
- Choose Connect next to Zoom. Your browser opens Zoom's sign-in page.
- Sign in to Zoom, review the permissions Pin2 asks for, and choose Allow.
- Zoom sends you back to Pin2, which shows your Zoom account as connected.
Using the app
Ask Pin2, for example:
- "List my cloud recordings from last week."
- "Summarize the transcript of yesterday's team meeting."
- "Show the AI Companion summary of my 1:1 with Ana."
- "Which meetings do I have on Thursday?"
- "Schedule a 30-minute meeting tomorrow at 3 pm called Design review." Pin2 shows the details and asks before it creates or changes a meeting.
What Pin2 can access
- Your Zoom profile (to show which account is connected).
- Your cloud recordings, their files and transcripts.
- Your meetings and their AI Companion summaries.
- Creating and updating meetings you ask for.
Data is read when you ask, processed on your computer, and sent only to the AI model provider you choose when a request needs it. Pin2 has no server that receives your Zoom data. See the Privacy Policy.
Removing the app
- In Pin2's settings, choose Disconnect next to Zoom. Pin2 deletes its Zoom sign-in token from your computer.
- To also remove the app from your Zoom account: sign in at marketplace.zoom.us, open Manage → Added Apps, find Pin2 and choose Remove.
After removal, Pin2 can no longer reach your Zoom account. Zoom data that Pin2 had read stays only on your computer until you delete it or uninstall Pin2; nothing is kept on our side because we never received it.
